The Shorthouse

The Shorthouse is a small self-contained 2 bedroomed cottage parallel to and a few yards away from the Longhouse, with the same facilities available, ie the swimming pool, playroom, etc.

Description

Ground Floor - Fully furnished with an oak-beamed sitting room with a feature fireplace and wood-burning stove. English Freesat Television and a dvd player are supplied. There is a kitchen/dining room with table and chairs for four, the kitchen comprising gas oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, stainless steel sink and drainer plus an abundance of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. There are two shower rooms, each with WC, and separate hot-water tanks for each shower room.

Staircases rise from the sitting room and kitchen/dining room to the first floor. There are stair-gates top and bottom on each staircase.

First Floor - Two double bedrooms each with a chest of drawers, storage and hanging space for clothes etc. One has twin beds which can be made up as a huge double if required and the other has a large double bed. Cots can be provided in one or both sides. There is a soundproofed door with leads from one bedroom to the other, which can be left open or shut and locked, as required.

Exterior - the gite has car-parking areas on each side which lead to a private patio at the back with sunshade, table and chairs plus a barbecue. The patio can also be accessed through the back door .
